"Beautiful place a 15 minute drive out of the city. Stunning scenery. Two pristine salt water pools on top of the hill with a beautiful view. The room was comfortable, bed was great, and we slept with the balcony door ajar, it was so quiet. The dinner was excellent; they offered only a chef’s menu but they were gracious about making ours vegetarian. Not many other guests but enough that you didn’t feel uncomfortable. We were there on a weekday. "

"We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. So allow yourself plenty of time. It is an excellent hotel in a rural setting, but so close...

"Posto da evitare. Innanzitutto segnalo che NON è un agriturismo ma un casermone decadente alla periferia di Paternò. Nonostante le foto siano vere, di presenza è tutta un'altra cosa! "There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana.
