The perfect place to stay in Caltagirone

The perfect place to stay - perfect room, perfect large, hot shower, perfect food, perfect hospitality for a perfect price !!!!! Bellisimo - Bellisimo - Bellisimo !!!!! Sometimes bigger hotel can have kind of cold staff - the folks at Villa San Mauro are like the perfect family - they were awesome !!!!

This staff at the hotel is so accommodating and friendly! They were very patient with me as my Italian was not very good but many spoke English. The hotel itself is beautifully located in Caltagirone and is easy to walk into old town. The beds were very comfortable and our terrace view of old town was amazing! The pool area is lovely and so refreshing after a hot day of walking in the city. Their breakfast buffet was phenomenal! So many options, including many gluten-free options.

It’s soo sad that a beautiful property has been left to ruins. The staff here was great and they were doing the best they could. But the rooms are atrocious. The carpet must be original from when the hotel was built. It was disgusting. If you have any allergies you will not be able to breathe. The windows do not close properly.

This hotel sits in a beautiful location! I could see old town from my terrace! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable! The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! The pool area is spacious and lovely! And the breakfast buffet was so delicious with a huge selection! This hotel is a perfect spot for walking to local restaurants and it’s only about a 30 minute walk into old town.

Hotellet er slidt, og fremstår ikke så pænt som på billeder, der var vandskader på væggene ved vinduer og blandingsbatteriet i bruseren hang ud af væggen. Derudover virkede den meget gammeldags air con ikke halvdelen af tiden. Generelt ikke særlig velholdt hotel. Poolen var snavset og ikke åben særlig længe i løbet af dagen. Kvaliteten af hotellet er ikke 4 stjernet. Personalet var venlige, restauranten var okay til morgenmaden, bortset fra at der var hår i maden. Aftensmad anbefales ikke på hotellet, det var virkelig dårligt og vi fik begge mavesmerter. Byen ved hotellet er til gengæld super hyggelig, men der er langt derhen, og det kræver bil.

Ottima soluzione appena fuori dal centro

Personale gentile e disponibile. Tutto molto pulito. Arredamento curato, con tante ceramiche di Caltagirone, ma a tratti un poco datato. Molto apprezzata la piscina

L'hotel si trova un po' lontano dal centro. Il personale è gentile e disponibile. La camera è spaziosa. La colazione è varia e abbondante. Consigliato!

Well if there is no other choice

Very outdated And not maintained hotel, broken Facility in bathroom, hard pillows, dirty carpets, broken walls, And the Receptionist can not speak English at All. She tried to charge us for breakfast which we have paid via App. When we refused to pay And insisted to Make a claim Then she told that it was a mistake with there is a customer with the same name like me. The breakfast was a total chaos, the only positive thing was our view from the room.

Hotel accogliente e ben arredato, personale alla reception disponibile, camera ben arredata, silenziosa e pulita. Varia e buona la colazione. Un po' lontano dal centro.
