"The first thing is the staff - absolutely amazing, so friendly and obliging. We really enjoyed our stay at this bar with rooms. Great location at the top of the città alta with a bus stop a minute away with a direct route to the railway station and airport. Lovely pastries and cakes at breakfast, too."

"Tolle Ferienwohnung mit Frühstück. Handtücher, Seife und WC-Papier alles vorhanden. Kleine Kühlschränke in den Schlafzimmern. Simone antwortet sofort auf Fragen. Sehr netter Vermieter. Gerne würden wir diese Unterkunft wieder buchen."

"This was a fabulous hotel to spend 3 nights in Bergamo. It’s right at the top above the old town and not the easiest to get to but well worth the effort. The views were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. The only gripe was the air conditioning didn’t work very well so it was a bit hot at night. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. We ate at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a lovely meal in a great garden setting. Amazing wine list! The funicular down to the old town was only a five minute walk. It’s a shame there was no swimming pool but you can’t have everything! All in all not the cheapest hotel to stay in Bergamo but possibly the nicest. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again. Can highly recommend it."

"Don’t bother to book a deluxe room. We did but were probably assigned an economy room (according to the photos on sight as well). We were housed in an annex with no view. This was disappointing and definitely not worth the added cost. One night air conditioning malfunctioned. That being said it’s a charming property and very well situated just outside the old walls. Breakfast is not on the premises but at a coffee shop 5 minutes down hill."

"Monica was an excellent host. She was very responsive and helpful. The stay was gorgeous and just as advertised. It is a little far out from Bergamo which worked for us, just meant we had to plan well for getting back late at night. Would definitely stay at this place again."
