"Well, you get what you pay for... We didn't want to stay in a hotel in the heart of town, because you don't get much room to move around in your room, and no refrigerator or microwave, just a bed to sleep in. So we opted for this little cottage. So you do get a microwave and refrigerator, but still not much room to move round in. And you're not really in the center of town, you still have to take a bus or drive into town, so you might as well have stayed in a hotel. I don't know, I wish I could...

"Als Familie waren wir begeistert von dieser wunderschönen Villa, fast direkt an der Lahn. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet; es gibt mehrere Wohnungen, je nach Größe der Gruppe, und eine große Wohnküche, in der man auch mit 10 Leuten bequem sitzen kann. Alles großzügig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Zu Fuß ist man in 10-15 min im Zentrum von Bad Ems. Parken konnten wir auch mit 4 Pkw (meistens) direkt vorm Haus. Es gibt einen Billardtisch u.a. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!"

"When we arrived, the owner (Claudia) gave us a warm welcome. She is very nice and tries to make your stay as nice as possible. She speaks and writes English well. After a tour of the spacious house, Claudia shared information about what to do in the area. The location of the house is wonderful. It is located in a small village that is very quiet. The house is well maintained and very clean. During our stay, the outdoor temperature was between 26 °C and 32 °C. Inside the house, it stayed cool...

"Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet. Die freistehende Badewanne im Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss war ein echter Bonus. Die Bar/Lounge im Erdgeschoss war sehr schön. Perfekt für Gruppen von Freunden, aber Familien bevorzugen vielleicht einen bequemeren Sitzbereich. Auch toll für internationale Gäste, die eine typische Pub-Atmosphäre suchen."

"While the property did have a washer and dryer it was not available for use. It wasn't needed but would have been nice to have."
