This central area is the heart of the village, characterised by its traditional stone houses and narrow, winding streets. You'll find the local church, a few small shops, and the village's primary restaurant options concentrated here. It's a compact and easily walkable area.

Couples seeking a peaceful retreat will find this area ideal. The quiet streets and the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside offer a tranquil escape. Staying centrally means you're just a short stroll from local eateries and the starting points for many scenic walks along the River Nela.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities and a relaxed pace, staying in the village centre provides convenient access to hiking and cycling trails.

The best time to visit Aguas Cándidas is during late spring or early autumn, specifically from May to June or September to October.

These months offer pleasant weather conditions, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. You'll find it superb for outdoor activities like hiking and enjoying the thermal springs without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter.

For couples seeking a quiet and romantic getaway, these periods are particularly suitable. The countryside is lush, and the thermal baths provide a relaxing experience away from peak season crowds, allowing for a more intimate trip.

Families might also find these times advantageous, as the milder weather is good for children to enjoy outdoor excursions.
