"On the edge of the town, surrounded by beautiful Parkland. This small top of the range hotel really has no falts that I I could find. The service was great throughout, the decor and rooms were well appointed. The pools and spa were amazing, completely unique. I eat dinner and breakfast there and really, they were top notch. This is a rather boring review, but it must be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It is expensive, and often hotels at this price can't be as good as you hope, but this one is, at least for me. Whether there's enough here to stay for, say, a week I'm not so sure. I stayed for one night and it was the most memorable part of my stay in the Azores."

"We stayed at this hotel for 11 days for our 40th anniversary and the staff there were completely wonderful and helpful…. From guiding my husband in and out of the garage, to suggesting restaurants, or with any random question we had… no question was too much. They were always welcoming and polite. Breakfast was a special treat each morning and kept us full until dinner. We have no complaints that it was the same each day, as there was plenty to choose from. Once we got used to the closeness of the streets and the parking, we were good to go. Thank you Hotel do Colégio for a memorable anniversary!!! The Azores is beautiful, lush and memorable in every way."
