"Spacious and comfortable apartment with a nice view. However, the curtains don’t block the sunlight well, making the room very bright early in the morning. Also, only hand soap was provided—no shampoo or shower gel, even though there were towels. As a result, I had to buy a €3.50 shower gel from the supermarket inside the reception, which was inconvenient. Additionally, some of the lights were broken."

"Great location. The rooms were on the small size but tech enabled. Good choice at breakfast and nice food. Gym was small with limited equipment but nice roof top pool. All staff were very helpful and friendly."

"I believe that the place could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I was unaware that there was an alternative pool available, as no one had informed me that the pool adjacent to my studio was undergoing renovations. The check-in process was somewhat impolite. Additionally, I believe that essential amenities could have been provided, such as a tea towel in the kitchen, a proper knife, some toiletries. The air conditioning in the living area was not functioning. The location appears to be rougher than anticipated. Additionally, there was a letter stating that the current owner has been served with notice from an actual owner, and that all guests should refrain from making any further payments to them."

"We had a recent stay at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was tranquil. The hotel had parking for our car. The rooms were a good size and had everything you would need. We used the pool, even though the weather wasn’t quite ready. We were looked after. The atmosphere was chilled. The breakfast had a good variety cooked food, cheeses, cereal, bread/pancakes. The only criticism would be maybe a slightly better vegan option (butter, yoghurt etc). Highly recommend"

"We loved every part of our stay at the Elysium. It’s a beautiful hotel. Everything from the room, the breakfast, dining options to the pools, spa and wonderfully helpful staff was just spot on. A fantastic hotel which I cannot recommend highly enough. 30 minutes before my departure, I realised I had lost a pendant. We couldn’t find it immediately but on my return home I received an email to say it had been found and would be posted to me. The hotel went above and beyond, I’m extremely grateful and will be back for sure!"

"The apartment is very tired. Furniture is flimsy, mattress is to soft, bed squeaks, cheap pillows. The wind whistles through the door. Black mould in bathroom. Towels are old. Lifts need serviced. Apartment needs painted. The water tap makes a banging noise every time you use the bathroom. Basically it needs a full refit, this is not a 4 star apartment. The only good thing was the energy of the front reception, it’s a shame the apartment doesn’t reflect his enthusiasm. I can’t imagine using this facility again. "

"After checking us in, the staff suddenly had to check with housekeeping if the room was ready, which took 45 minutes, so obviously the room was not ready at 15:00, as stated and had to be panic cleaned. No kind of compensation was offered. They could have just given us something from the bar, but no. The rooms are quite normal for this class of hotel (poorly planned for a family with kids), but who came up with the great idea to have a glass room to the bathroom? I'd really love to not hear what's going on in there, but with an uninsulated glass door you get the full report. This is a bizarre fad that needs to be stopped! The beds are OK, but not great. The sofa beds were quite bad, and the kids complained. Quite a lot of noise comes through the ceiling and from the hallways outside. Fortunately it subsided quite early, so we could have a good nights sleep. The breakfast is meh. On the surface, it looks OK, but nothing is really well made or good. This is a bit like a cargo cult hotel. They have seen pictures of good hotels, but they have no idea how to actually make it good or pleasurable, so it all comes out a bit half baked and it gets weird when the staff has no read at all on the what individual guests actually need from them."
