"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"The balcony overlooking the beach was our favorite part. We really enjoyed sitting there while eating or just relaxing in between laying on the beach. The host was very helpful with communication and supplying the vrbo."

"We had a lovely stay. It was end of season and the resort was only half full, they were also closing a day early so had arranged our transfer to another hotel at no cost to ourselves. In addition because of this we were upgraded. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. This was really useful when arranging days out (make sure you have cash!). The resort was quiet and only one Ala carte restaurant was still open (it was good). I really liked the private beach and the bar was great,...

"Wish I could have rated my stay at the Diouskouri. Our reservation was made over two days in advance of our attempted check in. After many phone calls to the manager who was somewhere in Iraklion while we were in the hotel lobby, we were told to check in at the hotel down the road. The substitute hotel lacked hot water, a decent internet connection and one of the main ceiling lights didn't work. The substitute hotel was not a three star but we paid three star rates. Not a repeat."
