"The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bed skirts were too long and didn’t fit the beds well so I tripped over the excess fabric on the floor. Every staff member was very friendly. We enjoyed the restaurant and the food was reasonably priced. I would stay there again if I travel through that part of the state again. Having access to the beach topped off the stay."

"Beautiful view of Lake Superior! This property is located in a perfect location—between Duluth and Grand Marais.The bedrooms are comfortably furnished, the living area is spacious with a bookcase full of novels, puzzles and games for the family to play, and the large kitchen is generously equipped with all the necessary items to make your stay totally satisfying.The main lodge is just a few steps away, where we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant and then relaxed in front of the fire on the patio watching the water and the stars. I would rate our stay a perfect 10!"

"Outstanding facility. We had a group of seven adults. This house had five bedrooms, plus a loft, three full bathrooms and a half bath, two kitchens, and several rooms just for fun. Close to Gooseberry Falls and several great breakfast restaurants. Well-appointed and -maintained, clean and open aired. HUGE bonus was the beautiful, multiple flower-bedded exterior. We were able to watch hummingbirds, and tons of bees and monarch butterflies. The fire pit was a great extra, too. Excellent wi-fi and COMFORTABLE beds. HIGHLY recommend."
