If you’re looking for a place to stay that is very basic then this is it. The staff was amazing, the room was underwhelming. The best part of this lodge was being a short walk to the beach and the firepit outside.

I like the way the room was sett up, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very handy for 4 women 🙂 the elevator was not working when we got there, but I called the main lodge and maintenance came over pretty quick, we had to stay in the lobby for awhile, we had our Mom in a wheel chair so could not go up till elevator was running. It stayed runny almost the whole time we was there.

This was a perfect getaway for our family right on the shore of Lake Superior. I felt like I oceanfront. It is quiet and not far to Duluth, Gooseberry Falls, or Split Rock Lighthouse. The room was excellent with comfy beds, warm showers, and gigantic jetted tubs. We had a full kitchen and living area with a lovely balcony. Pool and hot tub were great. They need to ensure there are enough towels, however. We did not go to the restaurant or take advantage of other amenities at the main resort as we were in the Burlington Bay section. Definitely planning our next trip! Highly recommend!

The property and the room was clean, the staff was friendly and responsive and the beach, fire pits, smore stations, pool, sauna and hot tub were awesome for the family. It looked like an early 80s build so some things aren't super modern but that didn't matter to us. We had a great time.

Facility was neat and clean and employees were friendly. The only complaints I had was that the restaurant was not open for breakfast while we were there and there was no microwaves in the room. View was amazing, outdoor games etc were really nice and area was calm and relaxing.
