"Tajaa Pha is a hidden jewel in the area of Patan, Kathamandu. The hotel is for those who value a homey feeling. Shailendra and Amrita, the owners, make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and hospitality is sincere and it is evident in the amazing breakfast they serve every day. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and the ones in the front have a wonderful view of the pond, with the mountains as the background. "

"We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests.There is another excellent restaurant right next door. All in all I rate the Clarion very highly and plan to return."
