I booked this place mainly because of the access to the pools next door (RapSoDie) which is now, unfortunately, closed for reconstruction. "The ATLANTIC Hotel was exactly what I was looking for! An upscale hotel near the Heidelberg Main Train Station, which had a cafe and an excellent restaurant. I was worried about train noise, but never heard a thing. It was like watching a silent movie. The Local Bus Stop was a few hundred feet from the hotel entrance, behind the tourist information building. The tourist office even sells tickets to Heidelberg Castle and the Funicular to get up and back. Very convenient! Took the bus to the University Plaza and the Funicular was at the end of the street. Decided to take an Uber back to hotel for less than $10. The Atlantic Hotel is basically a 5 star hotel with a 3 star price. "
"Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and area is very walkable. Didn't interact much with staff, as I did a self check-in/out. Rooms a nice and very clean.
Housekeeping is only by request, which I didn't mind. Didn't use the amenities.
