I took a chance on this motel as I was needed a last might booking. I was greeted with friendliness and made to feel welcome from the start. Everything was explained and also sent to me in a text. Which was good because I forget things. The room is basic but was clean and comfortable. Nice big shower in a bathroom which was also very clean and amazing shower head. Couldn’t see a Power point though but there’s one on the wall in the main room and I made it work. Nice smelling body wash and hand soap. There’s also a nice little outside area. It’s in the flight path of the airport and overhead planes may be an issue for some but I loved it. Close to city and airport and plenty of places around to get something to eat. If you want somewhere to put your head down for a reasonable price, come here.

Yes Richard, it is an old Motel but the bedding and furniture are all only 1 year old. Also the building was painted inside and outside only 18 months ago. And we try our very best to keep each room spotlessly clean.I am disappointed that your thoughts were not as expected.

Excellent service
Arrived late after the office was closed but they left the key in a key safe next to my room door and texted me the code. They even left me some fresh milk in the fridge and provided me with the local taxi phone number. Excellent service.

While it is close to the city, and you can walk there, it is Adelaide, and the main road is busy. Also there aren't much in the way of restaurants in easy walking distance. The motel wasn't all that bad though. It was pretty comfortable, and the rooms were clean as tidy as well.

The first thing that's good about this place is that it's on the bus line from the airport (I didn't realise this until I saw the street sign). The staff were very helpful & the room I had was clean & practical. The only drawback is that you're aware you're near the airport due to the planes overhead (thankfully Adelaide airport has a curfew)!

The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The motel was clean and there was free parking. The rooms were clean and had a fridge, microwave and toaster. Would recommend this motel.

This is the only motel /hotel anywhere in Australia, Asia, USA, UK, and Europe, however cheap or remote in location, that did not offer a hair dryer or iron and itoning board. Also the window shuter didn't cover the window properly and anyone can walk past and look into the room.

Perfect for our overnight stay for an early flight in the morning. 8 mins from airport with smooth arrival. Very Friendly Staff easy to communicate with for a smooth and happy stay. They arrange our taxi pick up without issues. Highly Recommend

Sorry to hear your room was noisy. We have a 10pm curfew so I am not sure who would have been moving around after those hours. Unfortunately we can do nothing regarding the planes but there are none after approx 10.30pm Hope to see you again.

Centrally located, older motel with onsite parking. Fresh milk offered at checkin (much preferred to UHT capsules). Room was clean and bed comfortable. Under a flight path, but no significant noise overnight.

It’s a budget motel that is close the the CBD. Location is good in that it’s near to other facilities. Very close to the Thebarton Theatre.

Friendly motel by the airport
I was really pleased with my stay. The bed was comfortable, linen was clean, the bathroom was clean and best of all the team at the hotel went over and above when I left my charger in my room after checkout. They clearly really care about their guests. Yes, its close to the airport, so there is a little airplane noise but it didnt bother me.

This motel gets a very poor rating. Rooms are small and uncomfortable with no noise proofing, at least the aircraft noise ceases at 11.00 pm. During my stay people were talking and playing music outside the room all night despite my repeated requests to stop.

Hi Robert Thank you for your review and feedback It is unfortunate and very upsetting to us to learn that you were disturbed by other guests. Our caretaker is onsite 24/7 and always patrols the property before retiring at around 10pm to ensure against guests sitting in the courtyard (we have a strict curfew of 9pm in the courtyard) and creating any disturbance A quick call from your room phone to reception would have made him aware of your issue and he could have dealt with it there and then It is a pity that you did not bring this to our attention on the night so we could have ensured a more comfortable stay The team at City West Motel

Final night of holiday trip.
The owner/manager was very nice and courteous. We were put on the first floor and I do have trouble with getting up and down stairs and as we had a long drive I didn't complain. There was rough weather in SA that cannot be helped however we did have something banging on the wall outside, I could hear a gate rattling out the back. As this motel is in the flight path that didn't help either. The biggest let down was some people arrived in the next room around 5am and they never stopped talking the whole time and then they must have had a dog as they were whistling for that to come in. The room was very good and the bed okay and very nice continental breakfast.
