"This was a one night stay as we were away for a weekend and thought the town of Sluis was worth a visit, managed to check in early, as it should have been 3pm, room was ok, although had to leave as many windows open as we could, aircon didnt seem to be working, breakfast although continental was more than we had expected, had a drink from the bar the 1st night, bar staff were friendly and service was swift, thank you guys."

"Poor internet, no water in lobby. No fridge. Check in did not tell us about ice or housekeeping. Not enough towels. Beds comfortable! Pillows not comfortable, all wadded up. "I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and we didn't waste any time seeing Ghent. I would stay here again without question."
