Relax at the historic Austin House

Perfect for exploring the gorgeous Downeast area, Addison is halfway between Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor and Eastport. Or perhaps you are looking for a quiet retreat in which to write. You can spend your days on the porch watching the tide go in and out, explore local hikes, photograph the wild Maine coast, take a puffin or whale watch boat tour, and eat your fill of fresh lobster, mussels, and haddock. Drive 15 minutes to visit Jonesport, Beals Island, and Milbridge and 20 minutes to Machias and Roque Bluffs. This 1840s house is perfect for a couple or a small group (up to 6 people).
