Reddington Beach Resort

Reddington Beach Resort

8/10 Good
"I really enjoyed my stay at Reddington Beach Hotel. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and worth the price. Room service was good, breakfast and dinners were delicious, and I especially enjoyed morning yin yoga by the pool. My concern was that several advertised amenities were unavailable or not working. I chose the hotel partly for the spa, but the steam room and jacuzzi were out of order, and body scrubs and facials were unavailable. My massage also fell below expectations, and a requested foot massage was replaced with an uncomfortable machine. The bar had similar issues, with advertised drinks such as strawberry margaritas and piña coladas unavailable. The excursion was the saving grace and a highlight of my stay. Although initially told tours were for groups, the hotel arranged a four-stop tour with lunch and a drink. The guides were wonderful, and riding a four-wheel bike on the beach was tremendous fun. The staff tried to accommodate me, including using WhatsApp when my room phone did not work. Overall, I loved the setting, room, food, and excursion. Reddington has great potential, but for the price, advertised amenities and services need to be consistently available and operational."
