Achill stop over
We had a fantastic few days in this B&B. Room with costal view. Our host was brilliant. A very good variety of breakfast options. Would highly recommend.

Owner was very attentive, helpful and amicable, rooms were very clean, beds were comfy for a good nights sleep, breakfast had several choices to select from and the cooked breakfast we chose was well cooked, fresh, hilt and well presented Would definitely stay here again if we return to Achill

Achill is amazing.
Large, well furnished room with private shower/toilet. Good quality comfortable beds. Wonderful sea and cliff view. Very convenient location close to beaches, shop, pubs and restaurants. The hosts are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to give advice and information. Be sure to visit both Keel and Keem beaches. We would have loved to be free to stay a few more days. Excellent breakfast.

This is a very small hotel with 6 rooms. The room with the double bed was very comfortable/clean and the room with the two single beds was a bit tight but my daughters say the beds were comfortable. The hosts were lovely and the breakfast and coffee were terrific. The location is great and the view and town is beautiful.

Nice accommodations in a beautiful location
This is a very nice guest house in Achill Island. It is not anything fancy, but it is comfortable. The hosts were lovely and offered different choices for breakfast. The island is spectacular and definitely worth a visit!

Stay at West coast house, Achill.
West coast house had lovely views from the front. Room was spotless, shower was very good and the bed was comfortable. A good choice of breakfast was available and the food was lovely. Would recommend a stay.

Old fashioned charm with a breathtaking view
Had a lovely one-night stay here recently. It reminded me of B&Bs from childhood, and we had a very pleasant stay in a comfortable, sunlight front room with a breathtaking view. Our host was warm, welcoming and really helpful. Good value for money. Thank you for having us to stay

It was good. The place was very clean. I found the choice of food for breakfast bad as I have to follow an eating plan and all I could eat for breakfast was fresh fruit. Which is lovely. I did ask for low fat yogurt but definately the yogurt that was served was not low fat. It was fine if you could eat fries and cereals. I did ask for smoked salmon with the fruit but did not get it. So gave up on the second day. Wi fi was only available in the common areas not the bed room which is actually where you would want it.

Nice B&B in Achill
A nice B&B with a great host that makes your stay pleasant and relaxing. The Wi-Fi was is a bit unreliable in the room we got, but overall a nice experience.

Disappointing
While everything was spotless in the house, it was quite dated and old fashioned. The shower was useless, with hardly any water coming out. There was a bath in the room but with the plug removed so impossible to have a bath. The breakfast was a bit disappointing - stale cornflakes and overlooked eggs. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable.

Ce B&B est en fait un grand bungalow situé sur une petite colline qui surplombe le village de Dooagh. Cet emplacement privilégié offre un point de vue sans pareil sur la montagne de Croaghaun et sur le paysage accidenté de l'île d'Achill. Cet établissement dispose de 5 chambres. La nôtre était propre et confortable. Petite, mais avec toutes les commodités et suffisamment d'espaces de rangement. La toilette, la douche ainsi que le lavabo étaient situés dans une autre pièce de notre chambre. Le wifi ainsi que le petit déjeuner sont offerts gratuitement. Il semblerait que le petit déjeuner offert est très copieux et offre une grande variété: petit déjeuner irlandais traditionnel, saumon fumé, oeufs brouillés, etc. Cependant, comme nous devions partir le lendemain matin avant l'heure prévu du petit déjeuner, notre hôte s'est empressé de nous préparer un plateau contenant des sandwiches, céréales et jus. Nous avons évidemment bien apprécié cette belle attention. Nous sommes définitivement plus que satisfaits de l'ensemble des services offerts par cet établissement.
