On the house is precious and cute. There were plenty of linens and towels for us to use and the check in process was super easy. We hope to stay here in the future.
The place was perfect for our big family, giving everyone space to sleep and to hang out. We were visiting Hardin-Simmons, and if my son ends up going there, we'll bookmark this place for future visits to Abilene.
We stayed for one night passing through. The house was clean, stocked and very comfortable! If we pass through Abilene another time, we’d stay here again!
Merrie was very kind and communicated very well with us. Everything was comfortable and quiet for our stay to explore Abilene! Thank you and God bless! ComeUntoChrist.org
We had a peaceful night in this charming house. The yard was spacious, which was incredibly nice for our dogs after their first long road trip. The beds were comfy and the bathroom and kitchen clean.
This home is precious and the owner was so kind. I would definitely recommend this space for a family. The fenced backyard is great and my son's enjoyed playing basketball Thank you
We only spent 12 hours at the house but it was great for what we needed. Comfortable beds, lots of room, clean bathrooms with lots of extras and quiet peaceful neighborhood.
We would stay here again.
This house is so charming and was perfect for our stay. Location was great and neighbors are friendly. Don’t go in expecting sleek and modern because this old house has a comfortable vintage vibe. Bet it has lots of stories to tell.
We came for the ACU Homecoming and had so much fun spending family time together! The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved all the neat decorations! It felt just like being at home! Everything from the location, communication from the host, cleanliness, etc. was just perfect! We can’t wait for our next visit and would love to stay at Oma’s again!! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!!
I can only hope we are able to get back to Abilene to stay here longer next time! This house was lovely, and we found an amazing restaurant close by (Beehive) for dinner after a long day's drive from Santa Fe. Not to mention, the huge backyard was just what the doctor ordered for our fur baby to run and play. Perfect for our family after a long drive. We hope to stay again in the future!

Everything was just ok. The place was not very clean with cobwebs in multiple easy-to-clean places (light fixture above the dining table, window above kitchen sink, etc), food remnants in the sink, stains on several pieces of furniture and the sheets smelled stale. There isn’t a common living space for hangout. The only sitting areas are literally inside the bedrooms. The house is also in a rough part of town. I’m glad I didn’t travel alone or I would not have felt safe staying there. Nothing was amazing. It was all just ok. The host was very friendly and responsive.
The home was well kept and was very beautiful. My only complaint is the location. I felt very unsafe in the area, so much so that we did not even stay the night. Around 45 minutes after we arrived we heard gunshots as we were heading out to dinner. I would stay here again if it was in another location!
This home has all you will need for your stay. Everything was labeled and organized. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. The hosts have prepared for their guests needs including “nice” toilet paper (which was appreciated by our group after a long road trip from New Mexico). The decor was charming and every room had treasures to admire. The host book had tons of recommendations for eats & activities. Just stop looking and book this one!
What a great weekend. Wonderful location close to downtown yet 5 minutes from 3 colleges. Thanks for the restaurant recommendations. They were tasty. We are outdoor people so the backyard was perfect. Basketball goal, covered gazebo with ceiling fan and lights. Great space for a fun family weekend

Thanksgiving stay
Home was great and clean. I was surprised at having to reach out day of to get check in instructions. I also wasn’t impressed you can't turn off the light to the front steps and it shines into the master bedroom all night long. That said the house is awesome so if you don't mind the light it is perfect.
My husband and I stayed overnight with our 4 month baby. Although we only stayed 1 night, I felt like this charming house had all of the essentials and fully equipped for guests. The entire process was easy and so much better than staying at a hotel. Every cabinet was labeled, making it easy to locate anything we needed. Both bathrooms were stocked with toiletries. All the rooms were cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.
