"very clean"

"There is NO ELEVATOR! Floor was filthy (see photo where I swept the floor myself), lamp nonfunctional, staff entered my room while do nut disturb was hanging on the door and stole medication from me. 3 other guest experienced issues with the plumbing, tv not working, refrigerator froze all of their fresh groceries, bathroom door wouldn’t close and etc. The owner refused any concessions and didn’t offer anything to alleviate any issues, concerns or problems. I was warned about staying here, but I didn’t listen."

"This is a beautiful, modern house designed for a couple to stay in luxury (one bedroom and one bed, open plan living room/kitchen/deck, one bathroom). The kitchen is spacious and well-appointed. The property itself is partly wooded, partly open, with a variety of wildflowers and bird life outside your picture windows. A heat pump supplies heating or cooling effectively. The mattress was softer than we prefer. At night, the living room and kitchen could use some lamps and/or under-cabinet lighting that is not as bright as the overhead spotlights and chandelier. This beautiful, secluded place is along a gravel road (well-maintained) a couple of miles from paved rural roads. There is no internet at all, but we did have cell service there. Cell service is lost in many places around Adams County, so do not plan to rely on navigation apps on your phone. The area has several nature preserves, including The Nature Conservancy's Edge of Appalachia preserves, Shawnee State Forest and State Park, Arc of Appalachia's Quiverheart Gorge, etc., which were our motive for staying nearby. It was a tranquil and delightful stay."

"Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Water leaked all over bathroom floor from shower. The main door to the room looked like someone tried to kick it in. Thankfully it wasn’t winter. It had a huge gap in the bottom of the door. Was told someone would be there the next day to fix it but no one ever came. Tv didn’t work at first but managed to fix that ourselves. Their own phones in the room didn’t even work. Was looking forward to taking the grandkids to the pool, guess what, it didn’t work!!! Worst place ever!!!"

"Host Jim & Jodie were great! Beautiful cabin and everything we excepted plus! We have stayed in other cabins and by far the best yet! Highly recommended! Quiet retreat if you’re looking for that! "

"Loved our stay at the A frame home! What a peaceful, beautiful spot with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The decks and outdoor spaces were fantastic, and we enjoyed the luxury of having a hot tub and chillin in the hammock. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and added to the cozy feel of this home. We would love to come back and visit again soon!! Thank you for a great stay!!"
