Such a charming place and the owners have done a fantastic job maintaining this beautiful old home. The location is excellent. Very walkable to Maysville. Denny, the Innkeeper, was extremely gracious and helpful. Loved it and would stay there again.

Wonderful bed and breakfast! Denny and his helper were so friendly and fun. Good breakfast and great conversation at the table. Our room was on the 2nd floor. This bed & breakfast is in a beautiful, old historic home with stairs, just FYI. We recommend !!

This was a very nice place to stay. Very convenient to downtown Maysville. I thought it was very comfortable and the breakfast was first rate! There are downstairs (first floor) rooms, but mine was on the top floor and no elevator. So please note if you have mobility issues. I parked on the street so I don’t know what other options are available. Lovely place and historic property.

We had a wonderful stay at Moon River Bed & Breakfast Inn in Maysville this July and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The inn is beautiful, warm, and full of character—the kind of place that feels like part of the experience rather than simply somewhere to sleep. The hospitality was exceptional. We felt genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay, and the attention to detail made everything comfortable and relaxing. The location was also perfect for enjoying Maysville and the surrounding area. We travel to Maysville regularly, and Moon River was such a refreshing change from the typical hotel experience. It has the charm and personal touches that make you look forward to coming back at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. If you’re visiting Maysville and want somewhere memorable, comfortable, and welcoming, Moon River Bed & Breakfast Inn is an easy recommendation. Five stars!

Denny was a wonderful host! I stayed on the third floor in the Derby Room. It was perfectly charming! Everthing I needed for a solo one night getaway. Perfectly located to enjoy a leisurely walk around downtdown Maysville. Fantastic eateries and pubs just footsteps away from the front door. Denny was very knowledgeable about the local fare and offered many suggestions.The next time I need to take a step back in time and enjoy the company of the lovely people of Maysville, I will definitely book more than just one night!
