Douglas, I would like to thank you for taking time to review our property. I am sorry your stay was not to our liking. In the past year since I took over as GM, we have slowly started to update our facility. All of our rooms have new furniture, and our parking lot has been completely resurfaced along with our front landscaping. We are in the process of updating carpets in our room and will be replacing all lamps and TV's along with mattresses and we hope to have all of this done by the end of 2024. Had you come to the front desk and told us of how unhappy you were with your room; we would have gladly moved you to a room that would have been more acceptable to you. If you do visit again and there are biscuits and gravy, please feel free to ask us to get you fresh biscuits. Our guest satisfaction is our top priority and without knowledge we cannot fix the situation. I also have maintenance regrouting the bathroom in that room as well.

I am so sorry you do not have a good experience. We do our best to keep up with the horrible water we have in Aberdeen. The water seems to leave a rust residue that stains all the white fixtures. As for your room not being clean I wish I would have known I would have made sure you were in a comfortable clean room while you were here. We do hope you give a try again in the future.

I am so sorry you were not happy with your recent stay. I am not sure why you were not given an explanation, because the police department knocked on every door an asked them to evacuate while fire department did once through to make sure the fire we did have in a room did not spread through out the rest of the building. To my knowledge everyone did evacuate the building and I did stand at the door thanking everyone of understanding and for apologize for waking you up and having you evacuate for a short time. After about 20 or 30 minutes everyone was allowed back in the building because it was determined the small fire was contained in just one room. Perhaps you did not hear the police department evacuating the building; if that is the case I am sorry.
