The property is reasonably well-kept and quite clean, with a comfortable bed. However, the fixtures in our room are old and seem barely functional, and the white paint on the walls and trim appears to be twenty layers thick. The parking was also quite tight. The people were quite nice and seem to be doing what they can to keep the old place going.

Being on the coast, it had a fish/clam cleaning station near the motel which came in handy and had all the the necessary items to clean up afterwards. It was in a gazebo with a raised fire place for BBQing or heating their crab pot with their firewood.

Really crappy customer service, had to wait for an hour for someone to check us in then they called and said to grab a key and they would be there the next day. Exhaust fan doesnt work in the cleaning hut, could definitely use some decent upgrades to the place and to the ownership

The Mariner’s Cove was better than I had expected as the room was plenty big as well as the double sink bathroom. The shower and sink basin drains worked. The Queen sized beds were very comfortable and the mini frig worked great. There was one numbered parking spot just for my room. The parking area is small so don’t know where a boat would park. There are other amenities on the property that I saw but had no time to inquire about. The location is 4 minutes to Westport charter basin which was my top concern. I will book there again, Thanks Mariner’s Cove for an enjoyable stay!
