"The food was amazing, the room spacious and comfortable. All in all it would have been amazing if it hadn’t have been for the very drunk and loud man in the tiny bar who dominated the room and was incredibly invasive. He really shouldn’t have been served any more after a while. He turned up next morning in a grey transit van with his Alsatian dog and looked extremely hungover - he was either staff or a builder under contract. Unfortunately the distress he caused us on our second night ruined our stay."

"We moved room when we first arrived and chose a brighter room, all the staff were super helpful and so friendly, room was bright and spacious, very modern bathroom, breakfast was amazing, huge portions that we could barely finish, lovely lovely stay. Thank you to the team."

"A really lovely hotel in a quiet village outside Norwich City. The hotel was Easy to find and communication from the hotel in the days prior to my booking were clear and easy to understand. I stayed in the Africa room - The bed was big and comfortable with both freestanding bath and separate shower. I popped over to the pub over the road for my evening meal and enjoyed a delicious sausage roll and coffee from the bakery located within the hotel. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very comfortable stay ,good value. Only criticism this was the weekend the clocks went forward ,so in effect had to vacate room by 930 in real time ,to extend by an hour would have cost an additional £20."

"Great house with all we needed, steps to get in and out vey high and one of our group has recently suffered a stroke and found access and egress a bit difficult. Overall we enjoyed our stay many thanks"

"What a cosy and welcoming find! Lovely place. It's all the little touches that make a difference. The heating on when we arrived. A bottle of prosecco and two glasses waiting along with farm, fresh milk and two homemade chocolate muffins. When we arrived back from our walk on Saturday, our host handed us eleven fresh eggs. Beautiful walks through woods and farmland. Local pubs are within walking distance, Aylsham just a short drive away and the local shop and cafe is delightful. We couldn't have asked for more.
