Hyatt Place Chicago-South/University Medical Center
"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! Neighborhood is nice and peaceful. Our host, Cornell was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again."
"We had birthdays for two people in our friend group and this place was truly so fit for the celebration! The space is well decorated, well cleaned, and well lit. We had a lot of fun touring the space and jumping between rooms and floors. The walk to rainbow beach was easy to follow. Host is very clear and consistent with communication. They’re very sincere in their efforts to improve the place and make sure there’s no misunderstandings. Truly, thank you so much for your space. We’d love to come back. :))"
"We were so thankful for a nice place to come back to after long days of adventure in Chicago! An honest review: it was our first time in Chicago. When we arrived, we weren’t sure about the neighborhood and had trouble finding the house, since all the buildings looked similar and we arrived at night. Also, as noted, street parking is first come, first serve, and it was very full, which threw us off a bit—but it is listed as such in the VRBO booking. We also didn’t realize the entry code was for the door to the unit, not the front gate, but our host came right away to help. He was so kind, showed us how to get in, and gave us a quick tour. Once we figured out the neighborhood, parking, and entry code, it was easy peasy. The unit itself was small but very comfortable—perfect for our stay. The living room carpet could use a good cleaning, and the kitchen had a funny smell, but everything else was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfy, there were TVs in every room, and all the essentials were provided. The bathroom door didn’t close completely, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The shower water pressure was on the lighter side, but the bathroom itself was very nice.We didn’t use the kitchen much aside from the microwave, but the necessities were provided. Just note it has a mini fridge, not a full-size one, and I don’t think there was a freezer. The small laundry area was very convenient and worked perfectly for our needs.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Ch"
