"Calm centered space"
Sukhothai is one of my favorite hotels in the world. A wonderful balance of social and contemplative space. Perfect place for intense business trips as it provided a great environment to refresh and ground. Wonderful professional staff. Good food.

"Japanese hotel with invinity pool"
Hotel facilities are excellent, in love with that invinity pool so much, all staff are nice and helpful, even some of them may not speak English well but they will try their best to help. Highly recommend the Japanese breakfast it's so delicious, otherwise they provide breakfast buffet too.

"Trendy but comfortable "
The W is great with friendly, helpful staff. The decor is a little over overwhelming with lots of a cerise-y purple in evidence. That said the hotel is very comfortable. We had a large room with a generously sized bath and the most comfortable hotel bed I have every slept in. The pool is good too. We liked it a lot and would definitely stay there again

"Beautiful hotel at a very reasonable price"
My experience at the hotel far exceeded what I expected for the rate I paid. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. especially for the single traveler or couples. Thoughtful small touches--such a fruit every day, turndown service with flowers and gifts from the hotel, not to mention a reasonably priced minibar (by American standards) with free soft drinks--really give one the impression of value for money and convey the high sense of service and dedication to the traveler's happiness that infuses this hotel from check in to check out. The meals in the restaurant are perhaps a tad overpriced when compared with similar or higher quality food you can get outside the hotel but I did not eat that much at the hotel. The hotel is further out from the center than other hotels and does not have immediate access to the BTS. But taxis are inexpensive (if you avoid the usual touts) and generally reliable, even in the horrible traffic. The benefits, of course, are that you are outside the insanity that is the central tourist area of Bangkok. The Sky bar--Moon Bar--is worth a visit, largely for the views. The staff is very helpful and conscientious. The spa experience was expensive compared to outside comparisons but much higher quality and absolutely wonderful. Overall, a great experience.

"Excellent facilities but service needs improvement"
The quality of the room and the furnishings is very good. The bed was a king size and was very comfortable. Bathroom was large and well appointed. Breakfast offered a good range of Western and Oriental options and was good value. Service still needs to be worked on. We asked concierge to book a restaurant and they said that they would ring back to confirm the booking. They didn't. When we rang to find out what had happened we couldn't find the original person. They then made the booking and did ring to confirm. Also other hotels in Bangkok give you a card when they book you a taxi with the details of the driver and the taxi's licence plates. This helps protect tourists from being ripped off by taxi drivers. This hotel didn't do that and I think it would be a good addition to their service.

"Just next to Ratathewi BTS"
Vie hotel is gorgeous! Very contemporary and modern facades. Located right next to a BTS. Only flaw is that the BTS has no lift nor escalator leading to ground level, which is a great difficulty for lugging luggage.. The room was spacious. Small details like a night light was automatically turned on when the master switch is off. Air con was still too cold despite turning it to low speed n 26 deg Celsius. The beds are extremely comfortable. There's like a few choices of pillow for different needs. Everything abt the toilet is great except shower temp has to b adjusted manually without any indication of the temp. Hot n cold labels are not obvious. I have to guess which knob is hot n which is cold. Int'l buffet is tasty. Except we r not allowed to toast up our croissants? Like why not? There's protein shake on one of the days. Which is awesome! Great service n everyone is friendly. Except we didn't get to use the tuk tuk service at all. One ask me to call b4 coming to lobby, so that I don't need to wait too long for a tuk tuk. So on the second day I did just that but was told that the tuk tuk service is first come first serve basis. Can't make reservation. So confusing... Overall was still a good stay.
