"It was absolutely perfect! So close to turkey run. Which was our focal point in this vacation. All was very nice and clean and decorated very beautiful. It was awesome fire wood was all ready in pit to start camp fire and the front porch the cacoon chairs were very cozy to sit and relax and see horse and buggies drive by. My husband and I very much enjoyed this place as well as my two fur babies, they probably wanted to live there considering we hiked 4 days straight and 4 hours a day. However, to the ones renting in near future...heads up, nearest town is 15 to 20 minutes away. So since check in time is 4 and should you arrive a little later than that, might want to bring your drinks and breakfast the day you arrive and then you will figure out area by next day but this is no reflection on rental at all. Husband and I figured we'd get after we check in rental and we googled the nearest grocery store and showed us fishers, we follow the directions that stated 13 minutes away and then next thing we saw was a dirt road. Come to find out it was Amish place but said it was open til 8 but next day found out in Rockville they close at 5. Again no fault by host except for the Amish for not correcting hours on internet. Just giving a heads up for the new turkey run nature people. The rental was so awesome and so close by. 5 stars given on behalf of my hubby and I and my two little fur babies! You wont be disappointed at all with this place."

"The host was very prompt and helpful in replying to my questions. The cabin is delightfully "rustic" and is located in a wooded area. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the kayaks, and the hot tub. Getting kayaks to the lake is difficult if you don't have access to the golf cart and trailer. However, we were able to load three kayaks in a van and launch them at the accessible public Hollandsburg Boat Ramp which is very close to the cabin. There are two Dollar General stores close to the cabin if you need food or other supplies. There are wonderful hiking trails at Racoon Lake State Recreation Area (nearby) and at Shades State Park and Turkey Run State Park (each about 30 minutes from the cabin)."

"The staff were great, helpful and generous throughout our stay. The hotel is on the older side, so you will need to be okay with a little wear and tear around the edges. The pool is not operational, so that was a bit of a bummer for our son but Billie Creek Village is a 2 minute walk, so that made up for it. Parking is plentiful. We traveled from Montana to attend Bridge Festival. Being able to walk to Billie Creek and catch the free ride to downtown Rockville made our enjoyment of Bridge Festival all that much more since we did not have to deal with traffic and parking throughout the day."

"hostess was very accommodating. very sweet woman. directions were slightly hard. one of the roads is not named the same name as MapQuest has it, but the host helped us get to the right property. everything was as described just extremely Dusty which caused one of our family to have an allergic reaction all weekend when in doors"
