"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It was perfect. It is an easy walk through the pedestrian free zone. The location is perfect. The bus stop is just a block away. The lake is two blocks away. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast room was large and very pleasant. The food was abundant and offered many choices. The check in was easy and the front desk people were very friendly and offered many suggestions regarding activities and sights to see. I would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Zelle am See again. It was such a great value. "

"We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment at The House for a recent ski trip with the family. The apartment was clean & spacious and rooms were large enough. All the facilities were there to make breakfasts & dinner. Great location, literally a 3 minute walk to the City Express Gondola, where you can leave your rental skis in the depot and your ski boots in a 3 Euro/day boot locker. The only real down side was the cost of breakfast at 22 Euros per person per day, a bit steep so we bought food in from the local Spa shop and cooked in the kitchen. This would have added 550 Euros onto our bill! Definitely stay here again though."

"Travelled with a group of friends and several children. The hotel is charming, the bulk of the main building being very old with some modern additions to the rear. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. We all went half board and were well fed with good food. Breakfast was a wealth of choice, both continental and some English staples. Dinner was equally good, you could effectively have a 5 course meal every day. A great hotel in a great setting both winter and summer. Thank you so much Sabine and Family"
