"We had a wonderful stay at the Jafferji House. Rooms were large and clean, excellent AC and good wifi (although limited availability in the room, moreso in the lobby). Nice included rooftop breakfast and kind and helpful staff. Would definitely return!"

"The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable with interesting wood furniture. Overall, nice, clean and enjoyable. Massage was great. More sophisticated and relaxed than Stone Town and close to the airport. The restaurant is good but prepare for taking it pole, pole."

"This property itself was beautiful. Our room had two stories, and our room upstairs opened up to the restaurant, and the beautiful rooftop view. The staff here were so nice and helped us to plan everything we wanted to do. Also, the location of this place is very convenient, very close and walkable distance to the night food market, and different historic locations in Stonetown. We loved our stay here and will definitely go back. Only complaint we had was that the drain in the shower went down...

"Very central location for Stone Town. Easy to walk to local attractions. Less easy to get back to but that is due to the many narrow streets rather and geography of the area and nothing to do with the hotel! The hotel is known by everyone so if you get lost someone will help you get back. It is noisy with building work going on nearby, calls to prayer, and the church bells ringing but we expected that to be the case and soon got used to it. The air conditioning, fan and turn down service...

"The location is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to walk around Stonetown. Several wonderful cafés and restaurants are nearby and pretty much everything is walking distance. The Beyt is an older simpler hotel much like Tembo House hotel. But everything is clean and good condition. Breakfast is simple but more than enough. The staff are friendly and sweet — a big thanks to Diana for making my check in and check out fast and easy! "
