First impressions are everything and this started off so terribly, that it was not possible to leave on a positive note. The wait for check-in took nearly 30 minutes - despite everyone having advanced reservations. I believe the first group somehow lost their room and was transferred to another property. The second group refused to stay in there room, after checking in, because of uncleanliness and roaches. Our check-in process uncovered that the desk agent checked someone else into our room. We had no documentation to sign and were just given a room, with no explanation of amenities of the property (there weren't any). It took about 10+ minutes to sort it all out with the current desk agent under the impression we had already checked in per the system. Also - it was very late at night 0100hrs and the last thing I wanted to do was wait due to very obvious poor management and poor training of personnel. When it was time to check out in the AM, much to my surprise (sarcasm), there was a line to check out so we just dropped our keys and left without interacting with any desk agent because I did not want to wait another 30 minutes in that lobby. We saw no roaches, but there was also questionable illegal activity likely occurring near the side exit/entrance. I am absolutely astounded this property has good reviews and cannot fathom how anyone would be able to enjoy their stay here.

Hotel is a little worn ,but fairly clean. Beds are ok. Breakfast was edible, but it outstanding. Server at breakfast was very nice. Nothing too bad and nothing too great.

We will never return and suggest people stay away from this poorly managed facility. The room smelled, the service was non-existent, and that was our first and last time staying there. The facility was non smoking yet the hallway smelled like something other than cigarette smoke. Families and small children are at risk from this lack of policy enforcement.

Our hotel is not completely smoke free, we do have 3 smoking rooms on our 2nd floor at the end of the hallway. When our staff is told of smelling anything other than cigarette smoke, we do notify the Zachary Police department to come out and locate where it is coming from and have those guest removed. We do take the security of our hotel seriously and any complaints that we receive. Again, I would like to apologize.

Internet was very slow. Needs to be upgraded. TV did not have the SEC network. Was a college football Saturday and this channel is a must for this SEC football fan. Will return if this is added to the the direct tv.

Overnight Stay
We stopped here overnight and got up to a great breakfast. We had a problem with one of our rooms, and it was corrected quickly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again!

This was a work stay for a short term outage. The hotel was clean, there was housekeeping every day, the continental breakfast was satisfactory [it was set up eary and alternated on a daily and weekly rotation]. There is a pool and a washer and dryer. There are not a lot of bells and whistles here, but staff is wondeful, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and there are restaurants and a grocery in close proximity. I would definitively stay here again.
