Very pleasant stay. The room is very spacious & well appointed. Swimming pool is large, with plenty of poolside lounges. Breakfast selection is very good with plenty of variety.

If I could change, I definitely wouldn't choose this hotel again. Don't waste your money selecting a Coral Sea View Room because it's exactly the same as the Sea View Room. Your luck may vary from the 5th to the 11th floor. Cleaning is even worse. The silicone in the shower in hotel bathrooms is moldy. Almost all sinks have no plugs, and some basin sink have green mold. There was hair left by the previous guest on the sofa in the living room. The sheets have yellow stains. Choose carefully.

Remarkable view, and friendly staff. School holiday periods remove the à la carte option from the restaurant and replace it with a buffet which won’t suit everyone. The rooms are dated, but clean and comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Rooms on the upper floors are highly recommended as the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The pool area is very small and the loungers are always taken. However the beach is over the road and is gorgeous. We travelled during school holidays when the restaurant only had buffets available which were hideously expensive. Room service was a better option. A coffee machine in the room would have been welcome. Very well located on the island.

Excellent facilities, very clean and a lovely pool. I thought that the shower facilities for people flying in and out were fantastic, especially as we were very hot and sweaty from travelling around the island and were very grateful to be able to shower prior to catching our flights home. The staff were also very polite and friendly.

Hamilton Island is wonderful. The resort was fine, a little dated but great staff. It would be really nice if one of the pools was a quiet pool or kid free pool as all of the pools were very busy, noisy and hard to find seating. Lots of kids having fun but just really busy. Food at hotel is good but expensive - however room service was very good. Staff was terrific! It’s a beautiful spot!

While we stayed in a renovated room, we were told not to open the doors to the balcony because of the cocatoos - which was far because there are a lot of them. Charming but noisy! The faciliities are less than expected - the pool area was not serviced well and was dirty. Side tables were not cleaned, towels were left everywhere. The furniture is old and in need of replacement. The food is TERRIBLE! And the breakfast buffet is a huge rip off at $48 per person. Eating in general on the island is challenging. They have you hostage so I would suggest the pizza takeaway, Bob's Bakery and Romano's. All the restaurants are pricey and do not deliver good food. Overall, I think the Reef View's pricing for their rooms is far too expensive for what is delivered. I would not stay there again. Huge disappointment and oversold and underdelivered. The island is beautiful however and the golf course is a special treat. But again, look elsewhere for accomodations.

Stunning location and views. Very relaxing and chill trip with 4 pools and lovely clean beach with chairs. Breakfast buffet excellent and many GF options. Excellent facilities to shower for departing guests and free shuttle from and to airport. Older building but well kept up however room had musty mildew smell. Beds, pillows, patio chairs and pool chairs all hard.

The Reef View was good - the room was nice and big and beautiful view. Unfortunately under staffed at reception, the cleanliness was good but could have been better. Breakfast was great when everything was topped up - once selections ran out there wasn't much option. Paying extra $50 for one hour extra for late check out is unacceptable - not even 5star hotels do this!
