"Would highly recommend staying at this property. About a 7 minute drive out of Triberg on country road- its close and convenient to Triberg. Rooms large and very clean, beds comfortable. We ate both dinner and breakfast here- food and service was great! There is an indoor pool buts its not heated; also have a sauna which is 'au naturalle'. One of the best places we stayed at during our 2 week trip. "

"Stayed here, as I had a meeting in the town and my customer recommended this hotel. My room was enormous, and given my late arrival time (after 9pm), the staff in the kitchen (despite it having closed) made food for me as I was starving. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I didn't check out the gym but if the rooms are anything to go by, this will be one of the best hotel gyms I have been to. Parking was also free, which was a big bonus and plenty of space available."

"This owner went above and beyond to help us get to the Gasthaus/hotel by providing transportation because we ran out of fuel with no stations open then had their restaurant fix us a couple sandwiches and brought them to our room. In the morning their was a fresh cooked and several choices for breakfast. The hotel/gasthaus has been in the family for five generations. This sits on a hill in the country with beautiful views. I will definately go back again. Rolf and Suri thank you again for all you...

"It was a good-sized room. I liked the layout of the room with the master room and separate sleeping area for the kids. The bathroom is good, it’s a stand in shower for those who prefer tubs. The breakfast spread was wonderful. It’s a a great location, we didn’t try the pool but I know it’s not something many hotels have in the area so that’s great. The rooms don’t have AC so that’s something to consider for the summer. It’s very close to a supermarket. I appreciated the free tickets to several...

"We arrived after normal check-in and received an email with instructions to get a key card. Had to call to ask about parking, but it was easy and just down the street. Breakfast was good and the location was great for walking to the waterfall. There was a fan in the room, which was a bonus, though it was on a timer that we had to keep re-setting. Overall a nice place to stay. "

"This wellness hotel is beyond excellent!!! From the amazing services to the views of the Black Forest and the super lush meadows from our room. "What not what I expected -- photos made it look like a roadside hotel. When, in fact, it is in the busy part of the town. And the hotel we were in was two blocks away from the registration. Room was good, we had parking right next to hotel, but only because we checked in early, and got the lone spot next to hotel. Food was good and we had a "private" breakfast -- we were the only one there. But the owner was great and very accommodating."
