This was a good hotel that offered a good stay. They had a decent continental breakfast. Although they were in the midst of doing renovations, this did not impact our stay. It was a bit separated from dining options.

It was a quiet place to sleep despite being so close to the highway. Check in was fast, friendly, easy and efficient. Breakfast was a limited continental because of renovations, which wasnt listed on the booking but was adequate. The female staff maintaining breakfast was in the washroom at the same time as me and left without washing her hands, education required. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was easily controlled. Good stay.

The staff were excellent. The room had outdated furniture and facilities. The bathroom had a hair in the tub. The shower head was old and corrosive. A very old suite . When having a shower the tube was full of water and not draining. The room had no usb plug charging. Old furniture was old. The entrance to the hotel and lift area had an old décor. The carpets in the hall way was old, and smelling . When I got the entrance to the hotel , I could smell weed. The customers were smoking on the outside patio . Not ideal for the first impressions. When I went in the lift ,I could smell weed. Even on the floor where my room was , I could smell weed. Who wants to stay at a hotel that has that type of customers. Also the bed sheets were old too . I left the hotel after 2 days . Never again.

This is a nice quiet place but a bit dated and our room needed some TLC. One of the drawers on a dresser wouldn’t stay closed so in the night you had to be careful to not walk into it. There was a very strong smell of chemical cleaner when we first entered and the windows are able to be opened. But overall the room was clean and we would stay again. The morning breakfast staff was really nice and very pleasant chatting with people and the food was very good.

Its an older property. The breakfast is minimalist. It was not continental in anyway, For the 3 nights same breakfast. Dont think i will be going back.

The Monte Carlo is great value if you are looking to be in this area. Clean and modern. I was always skeptical of staying at Monte Carlo hotel because they look a bit old on the exterior. However, this is my second stay at a Monte Carlo (the other was in Vaughn) and I would not hesitate to stay again. They are quite nice inside - just a sllightly different decor from the typical Marriott, Staybridge, Hampton, etc. Only real downside for this one is that there isn't much nearby that is walking distance. However, if you have a car, there are lots of restaurants very close but they are on the other side of the 403. Oakville GO station is also very close by ($8 Uber ride but is walkable) and the GO train is - by far - the easiest way to get downtown. 45 minute ride with only a few stops to Union Station. Can't beat it.

The Monte Carlo is probably the most unsanitary hotel I've ever been to. The hallways smell of urine. We booked a queen jacuzzi room. There was dust on every surface, including around the fans on the bathroomand bedroom ceiling. The bed had yellow and brown stains on the sink. The mirror behind the jacuzzi had fingerprints on it. The bathtub and shower had a thick layer soapscum all around it. It was very visible. It almost looked like someone's home bathtub that hadn't been clean in months. There was a piece of plastic on the toilet that indicated it had been cleaned. However, there was also dried urine and hair on the toilet before either of us used the bathroom. After washing my hands, grabbed the drying cloth from the rack, only to see that the side that had been facing inward had dirt all over it. It looked as if someone used it to wipe something off. I was told by my partner that this inn used to be very clean and run well. Well, it sure has fallen off the wagon since those days!

Well. I’d stay here again if they could guarantee a clean room. The microwave had an empty food container w a spoon in it and garbage in the bathroom had garbage in it. The room was good - I had booked a double queen and they didn’t have one so gavee a king w jacuzzi. But based on cleanliness….wont rush back.
