Definitely a nicer & spacier hotel in Tokyo! I stayed on the Godzilla floor, which is the 30th top floor. The views were amazing! I could see both Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower from my windows, and overlooking the bustling neon Shinjuku at night was mesmerizing. The premium room came with a separate bath and toilet areas, which was nice too.
Location wise, the hotel is at the heart of Kabuki-cho area, which is full of tourism & entertainment but also a lot of adult or questionable businesses. Word of advice is to be careful especially when you are approached by someone in English. It may not be the best area for families at night.
Hotel in itself was great. It’s like a Godzilla theme park! There are a ton of Godzilla displays and merch. The lobby cafe serves Godzilla coffees and waffles, and best of all, you can see the Godzilla head up and close! If you stay on the Godzilla floor, you can also browse through some Godzilla stills along the hallway. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves the Godzilla series.
The walk to Shinjuku station is about 8 minutes, and the Shinjuku station is huge - so plan plenty of time ahead for travelling.
