We had a suite and the room was okay. Great views from the balcony. The bars and restaurants were good, and the service was friendly. The front desk forgot to order our taxi while leaving for the ferry, which was inconvenient but it happens. There’s not a ton to do around the area, and would’ve liked it if the hotel had a fitness center. There is no beach access which was a bummer.

Very nice, quiet property! We were checked in early, given an upgrade to ocean view, AND had a decorated room for our anniversary! Excellent service, friendly staff. Great restaurant on property.

Great last night in Tahiti before our early morning flight home. Beautiful grounds, amazing pool, delicious on site restaurant and wonderful customer service all around. We stayed in a 3-bedroom ocean view suite and it was worth every penny!

Te Moana is a very busy resort, I would say it is a party resort, if that is what you like then you will enjoy it. The rooms and the furniture really need to get upgraded, the furniture were not clean, for the price they charge the resort should be in a better shape. Also the resort charged us extra for tax and resort fee, which I thought it would have been included in the Expedia price, but it wasn’t so we ended up paying a lot more than what we thought we were paying.

My stay at Te Moana Tahiti Resort was okay, but not outstanding. The rooms were decent, although the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the shower pressure was low. Despite these minor issues, the hotel was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. However, the main downside was the price. For what you pay, I expected more. The property looked a bit worn compared to the pictures, and the beach area was more like a pool with a nice view. Additionally, I'd recommend avoiding rooms facing the road as they can be quite noisy. It's a decent choice for a one-night stay if you're heading to Moorea or Bora Bora, but if you can find something cheaper, it might be worth considering.

Excellent outdoor space. Very skimpy on amenities like shampoo, in room cofffee, etc. Nice happy hour. Unfortunately the room had a very bad smell. Front desk staff very very kind and helpful.

The pool area was very nice. I believe in being environmentally friendly, so chose not To have bedding and towels changed daily. They made the bed but left the dirty cups and spoons. Did not clean that daily. They were not helpful when my granddaughter was unaccounted for. They said I did not have an ambassador or counseling available. They did call the police which was useless. Security did walk property with me looking for her. Did not want to wake up manager as it was 3 am. It turned out ok, granddaughter left without telling me. Poor choice on her part.

Was not happy with this property at all. I was actually shocked when I saw our room. It looked nothing like the photos we saw online. It smelled terrible, there was dust and stains on all the counter tops, the couch had stains on it, the shower walls were dirty and the corners had mold like looking substance in it. The toilet was in a separate room than the shower, and it looked like a jail bathroom. Our bodies were literally getting itchy from being in there. We wouldn’t even think about sleeping in the bed, so we checked out 30 mins after we checked in and stayed elsewhere. And this room was apparently an “upgrade” from what we originally booked. I am working on getting a refund back for the one night we booked because it was just appalling.

Great stay and terrific staff. The stay included a 2 hour kayak rental as well as snorkeling equipment daily. Room was very nice. Snorkeling within the property has colorful fish and had a shark visit one evening.

Everything about this hotel is nice. The kitchenette is very convenient as well as the bed set up. 2 twins in main room with sofa and TV. Separate queen bedroom. Shower and tub room is separate from toilet room. Only bad part was raw sewage smell coming from shower drain on our departure day. Beautiful views, quit property. Free kids meals too.

The infinity pool and the white sand! Swim up bar! The only thing I was really disappointed in were the drinks at the bar. Too expensive and only a drop of alcohol!

Check-in/out staff was friendly and efficient. Restaurant staff was okay. Room was a nice space with kitchenette (but the fridge didnt work) and king bed was comfortable. The only complaint is that the pools close @ 7pm- way too early.

The receptionist who helped us during our check in was rude and unprofessional, his name was Maui . We booked an ocean view room and when we got to it, we found it was on the ground floor with no view of the ocean at all. I returned to the front desk and asked to go to a room with a view, to which he replied “there are no other rooms” I also enquired about an upgrade but he told me I would have to pay for this, despite me having platinum status with Expedia. I asked to talk to a supervisor but he told me “they’re not here right now”. He became more annoyed and then walked away to the end of the reception desk. At this time, another gentleman came out , his name was Rutger and was much more professional. Rutger asked if I needed some help so I explained what was going on, within 30 seconds he’d called housekeeping and found me another room which had an ocean view. Rutger really saved the day, as I was close to leaving the resort and going back to the ship that I work on. Myself and my friend had literally 26 hours off from our work and wanted a nice and relaxing time away from work…Maui almost ruined this for us. The pool bar service is really slow…only 1 bar server for the pool and restaurant isn’t really ideal. Overall, it’s a lovely resort. We just felt that most of the staff aren’t that friendly, although there were a few exceptions here and there

The pool and ocean front was beautiful. All staff were friendly however, the pool bar staff were not attentive and more interested in visiting amongst themselves. Our room safe did not work and was not fixed or looked at during our stay. Maintenence activities during the middle of the night woke us up. Our room was nice and cool with a comfortable bed and pillows.

Due to our flight cancellation, we were only able to enjoy 4 hours at the hotel. The amenities were great, drink, ocean view was excellent. Would recommend this small resort.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Amazing infinite pool facing the ocean with great views of Moorea. The 2 bedroom suites were very roomy and had beautiful views of the pool and ocean. Very convenient to town and some nice snorkeling beaches to the south. Only reason I didn’t give this a 5 is that the rooms were pretty hot even with the A/C on the lowest setting, and they felt damp.

Te Moana is a nice sized property. We had a wonderful balcony view. The staff is extremely helpful. We were able to store our luggage and use the pool until our room was ready since our plane arrived early morning. The kayaks were free for guests. The snorkeling around the hotel and shoreline was fun. Dolphins swam out front in the morning. The sunset was beautiful. There was live music by the shoreline bar. Nice small property with lots of extras!

Superb staff, very professional and helpful. Very clean rooms. Toilet was so high that me feet could not touch floor when sitting. Very few vegetables on restaurant menu; those veggies on menu were too oily.

The location and the property are excellent. We couldn't benefit of snorkelling the lagoon and other activities, due to the weather( cyclone, heavy rain), however we enjoyed the piscine and the room with kitchenette .
