We stayed in room No. 1. This is one of the worst experiences have had in a motel. The room is clean. However this room is not designed for any humans who are more 60/70kg. The bathroom which includes the toilet is extremely difficult to use even for most to shower or use the facilities as it is very small. The reception is unmannered most times. We thought we could get two hour late check out. This was impossible as usually this is done on the day of check out - we could not find anyone until 10am to be told be leave on time as room was booked. The parking is also an issue as information on that is poor. The motel is in the heart of the Hasting St, thus we decided to stay there. However, never again we will choose place. It is simply not designed for two people in one room esp Room No. 1. We only stayed there less then 20 hours. One of worst experiences was the smallest room and bathroom which is very difficult to use.
Very ordinary and overpriced, nothing like the photos or description of the property, staff were excellent but definitely would not recommend or stay there again.
First there was no parking. We had to move every 2 hours. Not enough parking on property. Secondly the shower flooded. And thirdly the toilet flushed at odd times.

Clean, tidy and convenient. a great spot to get amongst it, but a bit small and not suitable for lounging in the room. Also quite noisy.
The property is well positioned, but that is all it has going for it. The room was small. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Wire was sticking up from the mattress on one side. The air conditioner was noisy and it was impossible to sleep while it was operating. The bathroom is tiny. We had no personal interaction with any staff. A very impersonal stay.
Would definitely not stay here again. The location was the best feature of this accommodation. The rooms in reality did not reflect the photos online when making the booking. Beds were uncomfortable, room and furniture is dated and just an average standard.

Cleaning needed and some maintenance
The room was unfortunately very sandy when we arrived, the bed rolled all around the room as it’s on wheels on tiles and no way of stopping it. The lamp was broken and the batteries in the control were almost flat so made changing the tv challenging. Great location, easy to book
Convenient location but noisy, very small bathroom and very limited parking.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It’s in a great location, staff were very friendly. Room was small and there was a big gap in the blinds so the room was very bright from 5:45am. Other than that it was great
Weekend at 10 Hastings Street boutique Motel and C
I loved the position, the room was very clean and comfortable, good shower. Unfortunately, I wasn't sent a sms telling me where to pick up key and I wasn't aware also that you had to pre book parking. After a short stressful period I found a staff member who was able to locate my key for me, he was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe at front was delicious.

Basic property could use a refresh. The pillows were absolutely terrible, very thin and worn out. Bed was fine, bathroom had mould in the shower and very small but adequate.
adequate property for an overnight stay.
Breakfast in the Cafe was fine, nice coffee eggs cooked well but the sourdough was like concrete.
Overall a good place if you want to be in Hastings St for a night and just need somewhere to sleep.
Conveniently located in the heart of Hastings Street the pros of this premises end there.
Advised we couldn’t get an early check in before our event - then access via a lockbox. This would have been fine had the lockbox actually been easy to open. (Cleaning staff the next day said it’s an ongoing issue)
Hastings at has no late traffic so should generally be a quiet location. However, air conditioning units surrounding our room were loud & kept turning on & off regularly; early prep staff arrived in cafe below our room and began banging and crashing around whilst still dark, dropping cutlery etc…. No one is going to sleep through the noise that was being made. Add to that the banging and clanking of a washing machine again while still dark it that sounded like it was going to break through the wall. Zero sleep.
Room was ridiculous small. (Like, Knees touching shower screen whilst on the toilet); shower head was broken and sprayed water in every direction in the room.
Ironing board had no padding.
Clearly investing in a good mattress is not the priority of this motel. With rates of $270 a nice for a tiny queen bed room, this is the least they could provide. Springs were literally digging into me and my daughter.
No staff to be found at 9.30 checkout. Reception looked like the service entry full of linen racks and dirty linen bags.
Would never recommend this motel - better off at a backpackers to be honest. Disgusting experience and very over priced.
Affordable - but hard to contact anyone. Took 3 days to get any response to issue with road closure & access to property and car parking.TV flickering. Bed hard Great location - but wont stay again
