The hotel was not able to offer its full service of restaurant and bar facilities due to the covid sitation, but what it did offer we couldn't fault. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They did put on a breakfast service which was outstanding. We will definitely be staying again when we return to Stuttgart.

This hotel meets the requirements
We had a family suite. The staff gave their best to assist when needed. The room was lightly dusty. The pillows are too small, although someone else would like it that way.

Comfy but getting a little tired
A comfortable hotel with basic facilities (No room service). The room are a little tired, although comfortable and reasonably well equipped for a business trip. The Wifi is very slow, but cable (via lan adaptor) works fine. Close to railway, so easy to get around from / to.

It was close to the office I was visiting which made it ideal. The breakfast was very good. It was convenient to the metro as well. The location does not have a close grocery store.

Adequate hotel in outskirts of stuttgart.
The hotel was clean and friendly, and an adequate stay for business users. Wifi on the upper floors (5th and above) seemed non-existent, but did work on the lower floors. Decor reminded me of a mid 1980's package tour hotel in the costa del sol, but it was clean and tidy. Rooms were very spacious and Air-con worked well. The hotel is well located for business in the area, but a little isolated in the area. I would summarise as a a clean and friendly, outdated hotel providing adequate amenities .

Caught in a Time Warp in Stuttgart
The Hotel was a traditional style German hotel with the decor dating back to when it was initially built. The suite rooms were plenty big enough, but in Summer the rooms need AC as they tend to warm up very quickly. But at night the electric to the AC is turned off and the rooms get very stuffy. There is a huge construction site next door and unless you wear ear plugs to bed you'll be woken by the workers at around 06:00 The service was good, the hotel was clean.

We chose the hotel because it was close to the business location in which we were working, and right beside a U-train station for the city center. I stayed in two rooms during my stay due to a mix-up. My first room was a suite and very good, but the room I was asked to move to for the last night of my stay was quite noisy and did not have a safe. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food available, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We have to admit that the Suite you were in at first is our most outstanding room we have in Stuttgart - therefore there was no way of topping it! Bed bug infested hotel and very old.
Bed bug infested. Very old hotel. We were suffering after bed bug bitten our body. Immediate Checkout after one night stayed. Staff not helpful at all.

When I arrived I was told I did not have a booking, however both my other colleagues had, even though I booked the rooms! They gave me a room eventually, and when I was in the room it was like an oven, I asked reception and the cleaner to leave the heating off, this was completely ignored on all 3 days of my stay, it was unbareable I had to sleep woth the winow open and my room was facing a busy road. I found the staff (apart from the bartender and the male waiter) aggresive and sometimes rude.

The hotel was not very modern but it was nice. However, there was a huge glass window in the tub/shower so you could see right into the entire bathroom from the bedroom area - there was a shade but very odd. The staff was NOT at all friendly however spoke English. The hotel did not have a computer for use which checking in for boarding passes. If you could use your phone, you could then email them the boarding pass and they would print. The staff actually told me to go to the hotel next door and ask if they had a computer for me to use...why would I do that I am staying at this hotel. Just not very convenient. Also...very odd (and maybe this is just me) but you had to leave the room key at the hotel when you left and ask fr it upon your return.

Quite Place & Excellent Service
This is an excellent hotel with good location for business trips and it is near by a cinema and a café. The rooms are larger than expected and for the price paid, it was good.

Great hotel with free WiFi,breakfast, steam room, sauna and little gym. On arrival the receptionist had no record of our booking. Apparently hotels.com failed to tell then. She offered us a room and rang within 10 mins to tell us she had sorted it. Excellent service and very good English speaking staff.

Avoid at all costs. My rooms was decorated in an 80s style, single bed, hairs on towels and they had no hypollergenic bed stuff, they had to get it from another hotel!

A well run, very professional hotel with excellent staff. Rooms are a good size with clean bathrooms and all the facilities expected. There is a quaint restaurant that has a small but very good menu that includes local specialities that are well cooked and presented. The breakfast tends towards business standard rather than regional but is good value. There is access to the brilliant Stuttgart underground railway system within a few steps of the hotel which means that you are within easy reach of the whole city and surrounding area within minutes. Two gripes are that the bar allows smoking which means a shower and change of clothes whenever you use it - my personal view is that any smoking in public areas should be banned. The other gripe is that you are charged for internet access even though the budget hotel next door supplies it for free.

Great Staff
Of our 6 nights in Germany trip, the TOP stay would rank third. The Hotel is due for an upgrade. It has one very old elevator and you still use an actual key for the door. The air handling system was the oldest of any stay and it was difficult to understand, but I must say once we got it working it provided the best air of any room we stayed in. The staff was super, from the front desk to the restaurant and bar. I probably wouldn't stay there again but it wasn't a bad experience.

A true business hotel
The hotel is a true business hotel with all the amenities. They did everything possible to make your stay comfortable. This was my 3rd stay. As a New Yorker, it was close to all my meeting via the subway.

The few negatives was that the shower was set on the 3 stream power save setting and nothing I could do or my friends could do would fix it. We asked reception to take a look during the next room service, but it was never fixed. The other disappointment was that the room was not ready when we went to check in at 3pm. One room was ready, so we left all the bags in that room, but if we were arriving after a major flight or just needed a shower, this was not available ready to go. It was ready when we can back after diner. Sauna and gym are unusable and felt like a dungeon. I was disappointed that I was woken by room service twice at 9am, including one of those days being a lazy Saturday. I was in a room at the end of the corridor and I appreciate that they have to start somewhere, but 9am was a bit much after enjoying Stuttgart’s night life. The road is rather noisy, so do try and stay in a room which is not on the main road. But we move on.. Great location, with a minor walk to MaybachStr U-Bahn station which is like 6 stops to the centre (Hauptbahnhof) on line 6, line 13 also services this station but goes across town, rather than to the centre. Here’s a tip, if you arrive on at Hauptbahnhof go to the tourist info centre and get a 3 day pass for like 10 Euros, you have to show your hotel booking, but that’s super cheap compared to 1 day pass which isn’t made for the tourist and you may not be aware of. These tickets are also available from the Hotel. Breakfast which was included in the booking was excellent and my friends commented every morning “this is the best coffee in Europe,” ..every single morning and the fact I they had 2-3 each morning wasn’t a giveaway to me. Great selection of teas and food was plentiful and well varied, yoghurt was rubbish. Though they close late at 11am, they didn’t mind me sitting in the dining room until I finished my plate, well they didn’t show they minded. Internet is free for 30mins in the lobby (and dining room) and it was no problem getting a pass once in the morning and once in the evening. Skyped in the evening so decent connection. Reception has some free apples on some afternoons which was a nice touch. The entire Hotel has a classy feel to it, and I compare this to the Ibis Budget Hotel next door which was advertising rooms for 63 Euros per night, I doubt I paid much more booking the hotel from Sydney about a month ago! The rooms are a good size (for Germany and Europe), factoring the cost, I would highly recommended the TOP Kongresshotel.

Good hotel
This hotel is located just next to the maybachstrass U-station. It is very convenient to travel around Stuttgart. The only issue that I am not satisfied is that it costs you 6.5 euro per day to get access to the internet.

Everything ran very smoothly at this comfortable hotel right by the Maybachstraße tram stop. I didn't particularly like the windowless breakfast room, but the breakfast itself was good. Not a memorable experience, but a perfectly comfortable one.

I was disappointed by the room we recieved when I booked I was told it was a 4.5 star hotel. Rooms were old and outdated. You had to pay to watch anything on the television, pay for internet, and could not adjust temperature in the room. The only thing that made the hotel okay was very friendly staff and the breakfast that is included.

nice Stuttgart hotel
Nice hotel in a busy area with nice staff. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was classy with a great shower. TV was a 1980 model I didn't even turn on. My room was a smoker and I wasn't given a choice at checkin; my fault for not requesting a different one if there even was one. Parking garage is underground and a very tight entrance/exit. Space size was good once inside and cost was only 10 EUR/night. Lots of sirens each night but the price paid for being close to city center. I would stay there again only request a non-smoking room. This was a "blind choice" at the mercy of Expedia and I'm happy.
