Lake View Hotel is ideally located on Main Street in downtown Mackinac Island, directly across the street from where the ferry boats arrive. Built in 1858, we are the oldest continuously operated hotel on Mackinac Island. Now in our third century, Lake View Hotel has undergone significant restoration and expansion over the years, and today offers 85 charming guest rooms, along with a host of on-site amenities.
Guests can choose from a wide range of one and two bedded rooms featuring cherry wood furnishings, air-conditioning, 32-inch flat-panel televisions with premium cable, coffee maker, and pillow-top mattresses with premium bedding.

Our large, covered front porch is lined with rocking chairs and offers a relaxing vantage point of Main Street. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served daily in Goodfellow's Italian Chophouse – our Main dining room. Lunch, dinner, and late night service is available in Goodfellow's Wings and Things - our lively sports bar with wide screen TVs. Both restaurants offer complete bar service and al fresco dining options. Our new wine bar provides excellent offerings by the glass, as well as cash and carry retail sales.
