"This is a beautiful hotel and our suite was well appointed and had one of the best showers I have ever found in a hotel. Turn down service and cleanliness was fabulous. We had trouble keeping the room cool enough, the controls were confusing and would revert back to a default in the middle of the night. Staff was attentive and helpful but ultimately was unable to secure us dinner reservations other than in their own hotel and did not seem to have many restaurants that they worked with....

"The Pestana Vintage Porto Hotel is AWESOME! It is right in the hub of action on the waterfront with a cool area out front to have drinks and snacks and enjoy people watching. The shops around, including a little grocery a few store fronts away, are interesting and great prices considering that you are in the middle of the action. We parked our car at a public garage about two blocks away on the main road into town and it was simple. The room was fun, with a view onto the water, and the breakfast included was great. Loved every bit of this stay and found the price totally reasonable. "
