Staff was horrible. We booked a king size room with a pullout couch but when we checked in we were told there were no rooms like that in the hotel. We were supposed to have a gulf view, the view was of the roof. Were told there were no roll around beds available. They gave us an air mattress. Horrible. Then. it cost us $250 for a cabana on the beach. Rip off.

768$ for one night, room was dirty and beds were very uncomfortable. The pool was crowded and all the Karen’s were putting out their towels to hold chairs at 8:00am and staff did nothing to fix the problem. I asked for extra blankets for my kids at 8:00pm and they knocked on my door at 10:30 to deliver. This is unacceptable and I would NEVER stay here again.

Our reservation was "upgraded " to a king bed room, from 2 double beds. Well I needed to beds.. staff got us a double room with balcony. She followed up during our stay. Trip was very enjoyable!

Hotel was as advertised. We thought everything looked nice. Our beach area was less crowded, thankfully, than further down the beach. We loved that there was a Tiki Bar that you could order drinks from and sit on the beach with. The pool was really nice. There is an area for kids to play games outside. We rented a car, but wish we wouldn't have. We could walk everywhere! Plenty of restaurants, shops and Walgreens to get stuff from. It is next door to Pier 60 which is entertaining and has a playground for little kids to play on. It is not a quiet place and has a lot of children so if you are okay with that, then I highly recommend staying here. We would stay here again. We had no problems!

I have stayed at this Hilton for many years, several times. Unfortunately when we arrived on 3/27/24 we received the worst view from the balcony I have ever had. It was essentially a cinder block wall and I felt so closed in, we were highly disappointed. However, I called to have our room moved, which we moved to a better room with a great view but it still had an ugly cinder block wall balcony blocking most of our view. I called again and Breanna was incredibly helpful and made our request happen with little wiggle room due to spring break. The hotel is very expensive @ $500 night, I just wanted to have the best experience for my money. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is as well, perfect location. Unfortunately staff is kind of snappy or rude, not very pleasant, Except for Bre. Even at checkin when we arrived someone was in training which is totally fine but the foreign girl who checked us in was hard to understand and I wanted to ask more questions about certain charges or accommodations for our infant daughter and I felt rushed and not entirely welcome. I understand it’s spring break and the staff is probably worn out. Hospitality is a hard job but I expect kindness and respect when I haven’t done anything wrong. Disappointed on our stay but I will probably return due to the resort being very clean, smells fantastic and you can’t beat the location. A few other disappointing things happened but I don’t have enough character space to type.

It is a beautiful property, staff are helpful and friendly, food is good. They charge a surprise $35 per day per person to use the pool etc. And they charge $29 per day to use a beach chair. Not sure we would return because of that. Friends in the hotel next to us got two free beach chairs each day.

We also review the resort fee as we wish it to include as many amenities as possible to take care of our variety of clientele and currently includes WiFi; bike rentals; morning yoga; pool & beach activities; 1 hour non-motorized water sports 9am-12pm; 2 bottled waters daily; photo shoot with 1 print; Clearwater Beach Fitness access; kids crafts & games; 10% off spa merchandise. We are working with our team to ensure they are explaining the amenities available with accuracy. Again our sincere apologies.

the fridge and tv were unplugged and my wife had to clean the dirty fridge that was full of water from defrosting.It took about 3 hours to get our tv replaced and with all this there was no offer of compensation.also there were some pairs of dirty gloves left in the room

Ocean view room was over lots of air conditioners. Huge support wall blocking ocean view. Couldn’t hear ocean due to AC units. $29 per day parking $35 per day mandatory resort fee to play ping pong and a few other games. Oh, and it lets you use their chairs by the hotel. Not by the beach.

For the price it’s not worth it. You pay for parking, a daily resort fee, beach chairs, WiFi…. They nickle and dime you for everything. I think Holiday Inn on Clearwater was nicer for the price.

We paid extra for a Gulf view room expecting to look out of our balcony and see the beach but we see the roof of a lower level building and the beach from afar. I’m very disappointed and feel scammed based on the pictures provided. We would’ve NEVER chose this property if we knew this was what we were going to get.

We checked in at 3:30 and finally got into a room at 4:30. We were not happy with the deafening noise from the hundreds of AC units just outside our 5th floor balcony. We ended up with an 8th floor balcony room that was very noisy but not as bad. Our key did not work. It took several long trips to the front desk to exchange keys until finally we learned that the locks on some rooms had been installed upside down. Very disconcerting to be locked out. I probably got in 2 miles of walking going back and forth to the front desk.

At check in I was helping my husband by the arm to check in and someone behind the checkin counter asked “well what happened to you” with a smurk(i’m assuming she thought he was tipsy)to which I replied “he has had a stroke”. Returning back to park after being out the attendent who checks people in before we go to valet, was super rude, as we have always been shown to go straight to the handicap parking space. He’s told us just valet to which I replied to him they’ve always told us to just go to handicap, and he said well are you handicap?and I had to show him the sticker on my window. We requested housekeeping because we just wanted to have our trash picked up and coffee replaced to which out of the five days we stayed they only showed up two of the 5 days. We had to request extra towels. We actually took our own trash to the trashcan then track down the nearest housekeeper to ask for trash bags, coffee cups, lids, tea and coffee, creamer, and sugar for our room.
