"Hotel a short drive from the airport. The hotel’s airport pickup & check in was seamless, although we arrived around midnight. The hotel room was clean & comfortable, with a fantastic view from the room balcony, it’s right on the lagoon. "

"Our stay at Pegasus was excellent. Staff were amazing and helpful, amenities were excellent. The only area for improvement would be an upgrade to their coffee available for breakfast. Drop filter just doesn't cut it. "

"Nice location and a clean place to stay. But if you are planning on walking to the ancient city of Sigiriya it’s a 30 min walk from the hotel. Not a 1 min walk as advertised. The service was good but the food was at best average, specially dinner “À la carte”. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety which was good but the food was average. Good for a short stay."

"This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying."

"Very expensive stay for not much facilities. Staff barely able to understand requests. No timely answers for queries before we arrived at the property. Staff do not go out of the way to make your experience pleasant at all. Breakfast was below average. For the expensive pricing, you would expect a better spread, but no. Cleanliness of property is also below average when you compare with similar properties in the price range."

"We were disappointed on arrival at the hotel insects in room and broken electric socket broken and very limited choice of food. Spoke to the assistant manager who was extremely apologetic and arranged to change us to an upgraded room and for us to eat at their sister hotel next door. Staff in this restaurant were very attentive and the food quality and choice were amazing"

"I came here with my husband and toddler (a year and a half old). Overall we had a great time. What we liked: - The view was breathtaking! - Our housekeeping staff Ajithkumar was amazing to us! He always greeted us and asked if we needed our room cleaned. And when he did, we were greeted with a pleasant surprise, a swan scultpture made out of towels and a really cute elephant scultpture for our son. So much talent! - Our room was VERY spacious which was great for our toddler son who loves to run...

Food is good, lots of chices and close to authentic. Difficulty road to get to the hotel, then this is normal for Sri Lankan hotel outside of Colombo. "

"It’s a convenient distance from unawatuna beach and Galle fort. If you’re only down south for a weekend, or for your first time I highly recommend. Excellent service, great breakfast, calm and pleasant private beach. Beautiful sunsets. "
