It’s basically a 1-bedroom apartment with EVERYTHING already provided: wine glasses, beer mugs, coffee mugs, all kitchen utensils etc etc. no need to bring any silverware or anything they have it. "We loved the location of the property. It is in a very quiet area on the island and Derek has thought of everything one could possibly need. We felt like the house was bigger than it appeared in the listing. Having the golf cart at the house was huge and saved us a few hundred dollars by not having to rent one. "We had the most amazing 7 days in Ocracoke and plan on returning soon! Loved driving our golf cart around the town, but really loved driving on the beach! Everywhere we ate was awesome too! The only thing I did not like were the 2 flights of stairs we had to climb to get in our condo; I had no idea! Next time we rent, I'll do more research on our place to stay."

"The Sound House exceeded all our expectations! Pictures don't do it justice. The traditional beach cottage has lovely decor, a well-equiped kitchen, and a wonderful view and access to the sound. We loved being able to launch our kayaks from the backyard. We having been coming to the island for 35+ years and this is now our favorite cottage. Perfect for a couple's getaway!"
