"I liked staying here as it was quiet and safe. It had a lovely sea view as well. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good and they cooked eggs to order which was a bonus. If you opt to not stay within the palace walls, this is a good, close option. It was only about a 5 min walk to the Riva and the palace. Very easy to get to the port for the island ferries as well. The next time I'm in Split I'll stay within the palace walls for the experience and convenience, but this hotel met my needs at the time. "

Any requests I had, from fulfilling my room request of finding the Adriatic Sea view that I desired to scheduling me the most incredible private driver, Ante, for a day to Dubrovnik, Blazenka took care of this. She sincerely cared about ensuring that my stay at the AC Marriott Split was to my full satisfaction. Thank you Blazenka…you’re the best and I appreciate you for such personalized care! And further, Ante, thank you for an incredible day to Dubrovnik. It should be noted that I began my private tour with Ante and 9am and it concluded at about 11pm. Ante was committed to showing me sights along the way to Dubrovnik that I requested and those that he recommended that I see. I highly recommend that any private tours such as Dubrovnik, you ask for Ante as it will be well worth with it. Blazenka and Ante, I shall look forward to seeing you both again on future stays in Croatia as I was experienced a very tiny taste of all the beauty that your beautiful Croatia has to offer. "It is an excellent place to stay. Central location in the old town of Split. It had an elevator to get to the 3rd Floor. Our room was spacious and elegant. "

"Really nice hotel with a decent (small) gym and nice swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was excellent too. The bedroom was sizeable and well decorated and had a great power shower in the bathroom. Would stay again. Note the hotel is a 25 minute walk to Split Riva."
