"We were looking for country experiences on our trip to NZ and this was a great stop with a very friendly host. Ray was watching for us at the driveway to his quaint setting. Beautiful flowers and trees nestled near a river with pastures of sheep. Ray offered alot of info regarding nearby sites and lifestyle in his part of NZ. The property is small and separate rooms for fridge and kitchen/bathroom which is detailed on his site."

"Victoria made us so welcome. Beds were comfortable. The space was clean and I loved the style of the furnishings. We had ducks greeting us on our first morning so it was one of our highlights. The sound of birds, wind blowing through the trees was soothing. So I would recommend to anyone to stay here."

"It was clean and fairly spacious. Simply furnished. The odd thing was no shower. The shower at the local pool was an option if you want a fair hike and a bit of fuss getting the key. "
