"We are locals who stayed for a staycation for my birthday. Everything about Charleston Place is five star but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. The restaurant is superb and the spa is great."

"Breakfast was not good and for $25 a person its too expensive. Charging $16 a day for parking was also not very good Staff was nice, rooms are spacious but you guys definitely need a better restaurant/bar food"

"Nice property amenities with 24/7 market and Morton’s on site. Not so nice amenities in the rooms. Very dated and in need of a refresh, especially the bathrooms (showers). Don’t expect any toiletries- all they have is a small hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a cheap hair dryer. I didn’t find the bed to be particularly comfortable and the pillows are very flat. "

"The staff is their greatest assets. From the front desk, the cleaning staff and even the vallet guy Rodrigo and the beach guy, Jackson. The hotel is under renovation and that's the only negative side, if any."
