"This is great place to stay when you’re overnighting in San Luis Obispo… The owners are great hosts and welcome guests to their super-clean well-maintained property. The large rooms, swimming pool and jetted hot tub are big pluses— especially if you’ve been on the highway for hours. Easy to find also— it’s a block or two from the historic Madonna Inn."

"We stayed at the Shore Cliff for three nights this week and brought our dog. We had a hot breakfast buffet every morning with something different being served every day. The breakfasts were all really good. Our dog had a water bowl and a blanket to welcome her. The staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor to make it easy to take the dog in and out with a wonderful ocean view as all the rooms at the Shore Cliff. Apparently, the hotel been undergoing renovations, and except for one wing it looks like they are near completion. However, our trip was not impacted by anything going on at all, except enjoying the updated rooms and amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel when you’re visiting Pismo Beach, especially with pets and children. Its dramatic location can’t be beat with easy access to the beautiful beach below. Definitely going back!"
