"Really neat place if you want to get away from city life and enjoy peace and quiet. Owners are very friendly and responsive. I wasn’t there long enough to try the breakfast “which upsets me because I’m sure it would have been delicious”. Plenty of wildlife and stock animals that I’m sure kids would love it. Almost stole their cat though. We became buddies and everytime I would go outside, here came my little buddy to keep me company. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"It's a large, clean room. The location is in ideal country setting, close to all the Hickory area has to offer. The host were attentive and responsive to any of our concerns. The only advice I would offer is have a couple of comfortable chairs and perhaps a microwave. Would gladly stay here again. Highly recommend."

"Great family home!! Our large family traveled 900 miles to celebrate our youngest son’s graduation and Holy Cow Farms accommodated all our needs!! From the bedrooms to bathrooms to pool and fire pit, we enjoyed all aspects of this beautiful home. Getting to feed the cows was a big hit as well. Stunning sunsets and very engaged hosts made this stay so relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family! Thank you Turner Family for a wonderful getaway!!"

"We were having a day trip to Gastonia for Thanksgiving and just needed a place to crash, we weren’t expecting it to be so conveniently located (2 minutes from my grandmothers house!) It’s very compact. Think split 1 bed but it was all wee needed! Very clean and very easy to find. I’d 100% stay again!"

"The property overlooks a beautiful lake where we enjoyed seeing the geese, a crane, and even a turkey visit. The house provided great space for us and our dogs. The kids loved the game room. It is a convenient getaway with Shelby just a few minutes away and Gardner-Webb University being about 25 minutes away. Definitely will come back."
