Since The Separation of the Hilton and the Fayrouz resort the standards have clearly dropped, despite having an email that confirmed we would have one room with two double beds for a family of 4, that email was sent to me by Fayrouz resort themselves. On checking in this was not the case, so after a lot of arguing on arrival at 3am we eventually settled with a double bed, a single bed and then a fold away metal bed that was simply not fit for purpose, broken Springs etc really shoddy. The hotel staff were very good in fairness and the beach is incredible by far and away the best in Naama Bay for location and quality. The majority of guests about 95% are all Middle Eastern and it appears the hotel caters for them as they get cheap package tours from whatever country they travel to Sharm from. Any of the swimming pool rules with regard to swimming attire, loud music anything rules really, they all get broken and there's never anything done about it, shame because of its location it could be good but we will not return
