We chose to go to Sharm for the winter sunshine and it certainly delivered. On arrival we paid additional money for the deluxe side, which has 2 storey blocks of rooms surrounding one of the largest pools I've seen in a hotel complex, part of which was heated. The rooms were very large with a super king sized bed and a huge bathroom with walk in shower and a bath. All the rooms on this side of the hotel overlook the pool. The non deluxe side of the hotel (the sea side) has smaller blocks set in gardens with some overlooking the main pool which again is large and deeper than the other main pool, but others only overlook the internal roads. There are some though that look over smaller pools. The sun loungers and parasols were always available. The restaurant on the deluxe side was large and well laid out, on the sea side not quite so spacious, the food in both was plentiful though the quality could have been better at times. There were several different bars in the main reception buildings and around the grounds. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive in all areas of the hotel and from all the staff, from the boy who cleaned the room to the restaurant manager. The hotel also gives access to a small beach, (sun loungers go early here!) from which the snorkeling is fantastic. Overall for a winter sun holiday the whole experience couldn't be faulted.

Stayed for a week at the Savoy Sharm in a Garden View Suite. The Hotel was first class. The room was excellent, the hotel facilities and in particular the staff were of the highest standard.
Our only criticism was that some of the food and drink in the hotel's many restaurant was a little expensive and was less consistently excellent than other elements of the hotel. Exceptions to this were the burgers, which were very good and the food at the Seafood restaurant by the beach, which was suburb.
I could not recommend this place high enough for those wanting a high quality, relaxing beach hotel.

This was my wife's first trip without our children and the hotel staff bent over backwards to ensure we had an amazing stay. From the moment we were greeted by Islam on the front desk to when we left we had a great time. If we were not obliged to return home we would have happily extended our stay.
