“Nice Holiday Inn”

The hotel is fairly new and modern, very well kept. Amenities are nice, with LCD TV and free internet, and a nicely designed bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was good with lots of variety. It's near the train station, also the subway station, so convenient transit but the train station is currently under renovation so lots of construction and road blocks...

“very good place”

the room is big, comfortable, and clean. I promise the quality of the hotel is worthing of the price. The only bad thing is that the hotel is unconvenient for hailing a taxi because the hotel is in the old downtown.

“best value hotel I stayed in in china”

I stayed in about 5 hotels in china , this was the cheapest but one of the best. Only issue might be the location , the immediate area is very rundown but theres still a wide variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

“Better to check where you want to go from the hote”

The room was good but the air conditioning machine is weak and a bit noisy. The location is near by Shanghai Train & Bus terminal but these area not so clean and too many people near by. Also it was difficult to get a taxi on the road.

“comfortable and convenient, despite flaws”

Overall this place was not bad. The rooms were comfy and the location near the main train station was convenient. I stayed here at two separate times before and after my flight back to the US. There were two small flaws: the first was that the pipe under the sink was broken, so water spilled onto the floor. The second was when I checked in the second time, the first room they gave me already had an occupant. I don't know how that kind-of mix up happened. Despite those two problems I would still stay there again because of the comfort and convenience. And being an experienced traveler in China, I've stayed at much worse places, so maybe that has made me more tolerant of these nuisances.

“A very pleasant stay”

This is about my 10th stay in this hotel and I will continue to stay there in the future The rooms are large and very clean, the staff are always friendly and helpful. I usually travel through China by train and this hotel is a five minute walk to the Shanghai station ticket office. There is a bus to Pudong Shanghai Airport on the other side of the Station. When I arrive from the Airport and complete my arrival booking I then walk to the station to book my ticket for the day I will be departing for some other part of China. For me it is very convienient and pleasant to stay in this Hotel. However be warned Taxi drivers fine it a little difficult to find. The use of Computers are free however there are only three available and are in full use most of the time except early in the morning or late at night. The price is very reasonable and includes a free buffet breakfast, this consists of mainly asian style food (As we are in Shanghai this is understandable.) The main problem with the breakfast is the room is too small and never enough tables and chairs for the guests . The tip there is either get up early or have a sleep in and arrive for breakfast towards the end of breakfast time. I am in Jinan China at the moment and will be booking this hotel again on my return journey home.
