"This property was very lovely. It was incredibly clean and offered many amenities. The unit itself was large with plenty of space, and very clean and comfortable. The area around it is quite and beautiful being right on the water! The walk to town isn’t too bad but there are dining options and a few stores nearby too. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly. I would stay here again! "

"The view of the ocean was the best part. The swimming pool was also excellent. Walking back to the hotel from the main strip was a little tough due to the steep incline. And I would have liked to see more Greek options for breakfast instead of all the English options. The rooms were cleaned very well. "

"We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. Housekeeping was daily and maids were very friendly. As mentioned previously, it is a steep hill up to the apartments but we found it walkable....

"Avithos resort looks as good as the photos. Chose this resort because of the kitchenette so that I could make food in the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. The kitchen has everything you need, except they don’t provide washing up liquid and sponge. It was lovely sitting out on the balcony for dinner or a drink. "As the booking was made we had a very good instinct that this was the right property. From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. We could not ask for anything more, customer service was exceptional and proves one doesn’t have to stay in big hotels or chains. "Positive: Great communication with the host, who allowed us to check in late; very nice and helpful host. Negatives: very strong smell in the apartment, most likely coming from the bathroom; the bathtub was very filthy, not cleaned and we have not been able to use it. Outdated furniture in the kitchen, beds very average. I do not recommend this place."

"Great spot. Handy having the bar/taverna right in front. Host empties the trash and brings fresh towels daily. Only disappointment was that the sun beds shown in the photos are not included with the room rate. Beds in the room left us with a bit of a back ache as well."

"The apartments are lovely however the location as stated on the listing is not where the property is. The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...

"I would stay here again. This property is located in a quiet, yet gorgeous corner of the island. The onsite staff were excellent, the views lovely, the breakfast adequate and the pool/common areas were exactly as expected. While not associated with this hotel, make sure to check out the sun decks, diving platforms and food at nearby Windmill Cafe."
